Diablo 2: Resurrected is Coming in 2021

Last weekend, BlizzCon created a buzz within the gaming community when they announced the remake of fan-favourite title from 2000, Diablo 2. Titled as Diablo 2: Resurrected, this remake will include not just the base game, but also its expansion Lord of Destruction.
Rumoured to be developed by Vicarious Visions, Diablo 2: Resurrected is set to be launched in 2021. The game will be made available for both PC and console. Added with the regular releases on the Playstation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series S/X, the game will also come to the Nintendo Switch. Cross-play as well as progression capabilities between platform are added to the game.
Among the key features in the game is the ability to switch the graphics between retro and modern look. The modern graphic is being developed with a mixture of 3D polygons of characters and monsters together with 2D background.

Others include frame-by-frame remakes on the cinematic as well as updated music and soundtrack with support of Dolby 7.1. Not to forget, the game’s existing “quirks” will be remained intact in Resurrected, together with new improvements such as shared stash and more. PCs players can now sign up for the alpha test on its website.
