G4 returns!

After the channel ended its broadcast 8 years ago, it seemed like it was the end of it. Famous shows from the channel like Attack of the Show! and X-Play were deemed to be no more. However, last year, it was rumoured that the channel may make its return when the Twitter accounts of G4, Attack of the Show! and X-Play were reactivated to post a teaser video announcing a revival of the network slated for 2021. The teaser was released during “Comic-Con@Home”.

Finally, last week it was finally confirmed the channel is indeed making a comeback with a teaser video in its official Youtube channel as indicated below.

The channel will officially return on linear television and through streaming services on 16 November 2021. It will be available on Verizon Fios, Cox, Xfinity TV, Philo and collaborate with Twitch on a multi-year promotional and commercial partnership through G4’s official Twitch channel. G4 will also continue to create channel-specific content across its social media platforms and YouTube.
